Reduce support costs with usability testing and UI design

"It's just easier to call customer support." Unexpectedly, people in a usability study said that calling support is easier than solving problems themselves.

This was a surprising but important finding that the team addressed quickly.

"We need to reduce customer support costs." A client asked for help in simplifying a task that generated far more calls than it should have.

The support staff believes our redesign will reduce calls. Testing with real users is next.

You're missing something if you don't watch customers use your products. Usability testing and UI design go hand-in-hand. Let's talk about running a study for you.

Save time with early customer interviews

In another recent project, persona development and customer interviews revealed that a proposed feature wasn't useful.

We refined the concept, choosing something that achieved the same business goal but suited users better. This saved quite a bit of time in design, development and QA.

Start new projects with a Group Design Workshop

Our Group Design Workshop is a great way to start a design project. Participants discuss user needs, assumptions and requirements, and make quick sketches to demonstrate their ideas. Sketching forces them to think harder and develop ideas further.

Clients say it's a "stimulating" and "collaborative" process that "uncovers new ideas." The resulting design sketches are always a great way to start your next design project.
