Typeform
Your forms look beautiful. Now make them work harder. Connect Typeform to Positive User through Zapier and turn every response into a contact profile enriched with the answers your respondents gave. Surveys, lead capture forms, quizzes, applications, and feedback forms all feed directly into your CRM the moment someone hits submit.
Conversational Forms, Instant Contact Profiles
Create Contacts From Every Response
Someone completes your Typeform. Zapier detects the submission instantly (webhook-based, no polling delay) and creates or updates a contact in Positive User with all the form answers: name, email, phone, company, and every custom question you've included. The contact exists in your CRM before the respondent sees the thank you screen.
Map Every Answer to a Contact Attribute
Typeform forms often collect rich, structured data: budget ranges, team sizes, use cases, product preferences, satisfaction scores. Each answer can be mapped to a Positive User attribute through Zapier. The more your form asks, the more precisely you can segment, score, and personalize your follow-up. A simple lead form becomes a qualification engine.
Capture Partial Responses Before They Drop Off
Not every respondent finishes your form. Typeform supports partial submissions (on Basic plan and above), and Zapier can trigger on those too. If a visitor completes the first few questions and drops off, the partial data still flows into Positive User. You can follow up with an email nudge or tag them as an incomplete lead, rather than losing them entirely.
Three simple steps to get started
Connect Both Accounts in Zapier
Log into Zapier and create a new Zap. Select Typeform as the trigger app and "User.com" as the action app. Authorize both accounts. You need a Typeform account with at least one published form, and admin access to your Positive User app.
Select Your Form and Map Fields
Choose the "New Entry" trigger and select the specific Typeform you want to connect. Zapier will pull in all the form's question fields. Map each answer to the corresponding Positive User attribute (email, name, phone, custom attributes, etc.).
Test and Activate
Typeform will automatically submit a test response when you connect the trigger. Verify the contact appears in Positive User with the correct data. Turn on the Zap.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need coding skills to set this up?
No. The entire integration is configured through Zapier's visual interface. You select your Typeform, map fields to Positive User attributes, and activate. No code required.
How fast does the data reach Positive User?
Instantly. The Typeform "New Entry" trigger on Zapier is webhook-based, meaning the Zap fires the moment a response is submitted. Your contact is created in Positive User within seconds.
What happens if someone submits the form twice?
The "Create/Update User" action in Positive User matches on email address. If a contact with that email already exists, the record is updated with the new form data instead of creating a duplicate. This is useful for forms that respondents might fill out multiple times (like feedback surveys or recurring applications).
Can I capture partial responses?
Yes. Typeform supports partial submissions on the Basic plan and above. You need to enable "Send partial responses to integrations" in your Typeform settings. Once enabled, Zapier triggers each time a respondent passes a Partial Submit Point in your form, even if they don't complete it. This lets you capture leads who drop off mid-form.
What types of Typeform answers can I map to Positive User?
All standard Typeform question types are available in Zapier: short text, long text, email, phone number, number, date, multiple choice, dropdown, yes/no, rating, opinion scale, file upload (as URL), and more. Each answer becomes a mappable field that you can send to a Positive User attribute or use in an event.
How does Typeform compare to Google Forms for this integration?
Both connect to Positive User through Zapier with instant triggers. Typeform's strength is its conversational, one-question-at-a-time interface, which typically produces higher completion rates and richer data. It also supports logic jumps (conditional branching), partial responses, and a more polished respondent experience. Google Forms is simpler, free, and works well for straightforward data collection. Choose Typeform when the form experience and response quality matter.
Can I route contacts to different automations based on their answers?
Yes. Use Zapier filters or paths after the Typeform trigger to check specific answers (e.g., "budget > $10,000" or "use case = enterprise") and route the contact to different Positive User actions: apply different tags, create different deal types, or trigger different email sequences.
Typeform has its own integrations panel. Can I connect to Positive User directly?
Typeform's native Connect panel supports some direct integrations, but Positive User is not among them. The connection goes through Zapier (or alternatively through Make.com or Integrately).
What if I change a question in my Typeform after setting up the Zap?
If you change the wording of a question, you should go into your Zap, re-test the Typeform trigger to pull in fresh data with the updated question labels, and then re-map the fields in your action step. Otherwise, the old field names may no longer match.
Is the data GDPR-compliant?
Typeform, Zapier, and Positive User all offer GDPR compliance tools. Typeform provides consent fields and data processing settings. Make sure your form includes appropriate consent language, and that your Positive User consent management settings align with your data collection purpose. Zapier is SOC 2 compliant and provides a GDPR data processing addendum.
