Copy Your Script
In your Positive User app, go to Settings > Setup & Integrations > Basic Integration. Copy the widget script containing your API key and app domain.
Add to Kajabi
In your Kajabi dashboard, go to Settings > Site Details. Paste the script into the "Page Scripts" field. Click Save. The script now loads on every page of your Kajabi site automatically.
Verify Tracking
Visit any page on your Kajabi site, then check Data > People in Positive User. A new anonymous visitor record should appear within seconds. Open your browser console and type civchat to confirm the apiKey and userKey values are returned.

Do I need coding skills to set this up?

Does the script load on all pages automatically?

Will the script slow down my Kajabi site?
No. The script loads asynchronously and does not block page rendering. It has no measurable impact on your site speed.
Can I identify logged-in Kajabi members automatically?
Kajabi does not expose member data (email, name) to third-party scripts by default. Logged-in members are tracked as visitors, and their profiles are enriched when they interact with a chat widget, submit a form, or click a tracked email link. You can also use Zapier to push Kajabi member data into Positive User when a purchase or signup occurs.
Can I hide the chat widget and use only tracking?
Yes. In your Positive User app, go to Settings > Chat Widget Settings > Widget Visibility, and set the widget state to "Hidden." Tracking continues in the background without displaying the chat.
How do I capture leads on my Kajabi sales pages?
Use Positive User popup forms or the chat widget to collect emails and names from visitors browsing your offers. Every submission links to the anonymous profile already created by the tracking script, so you keep the full browsing history.
Does this work with Kajabi's built-in forms and checkout?
Kajabi form submissions and purchases are handled within Kajabi itself and are not captured by the Positive User script directly. To sync this data, connect Kajabi to Positive User through Zapier (for example: "New Purchase in Kajabi" → "Create/Update User in User.com").
Can I use this alongside Kajabi's own email marketing?
Yes. The Positive User tracking script and Kajabi's built-in email tools run independently. You can use Kajabi emails for course delivery and Positive User for marketing automation, lead nurturing, or behavioral triggers. Just be mindful of sending overlapping messages to the same contacts.
Can I track which course pages a visitor views?
Yes. Positive User records every pageview across your Kajabi site, including individual course lesson pages. You can see the full browsing path in each contact's profile timeline.
