MessageFlow

Send every email from Positive User through professional delivery infrastructure. Connect MessageFlow as your SMTP provider and route all marketing automation campaigns, transactional messages, and triggered emails through MessageFlow’s servers. You get higher deliverability, detailed sending analytics, and full message status tracking, all while building and managing your campaigns in the Positive User panel.

Professional Email Infrastructure Behind Your Campaigns

Route All Emails Through MessageFlow

Once configured, every email sent from Positive User (campaigns, automations, transactional messages) goes through MessageFlow’s SMTP servers instead of the default sending infrastructure. This gives you control over your sending reputation, domain authentication, and delivery routing. Your recipients see your sender name and domain; MessageFlow handles the delivery behind the scenes.

Track Every Message in the MessageFlow Panel

MessageFlow provides detailed email reports for every message sent through its infrastructure. After sending a campaign or an automated email from Positive User, log into the MessageFlow panel to see delivery status, opens, bounces, and other metrics for each individual message. You get two layers of analytics: campaign-level data in Positive User and message-level delivery data in MessageFlow.

Improve Deliverability With Proper Authentication

MessageFlow requires that your sending domain is authorized in its panel before you start sending. This means SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are properly configured from the start. Professional domain authentication reduces the chances of your emails landing in spam folders and builds your sender reputation over time.

Get ready fast

Three simple steps to get started

1

Get Your MessageFlow SMTP Credentials

Log into your MessageFlow panel. Go to Email API > Settings > SMTP Accounts. Note your SMTP server address (smtp.messageflow.com), username (format: 1.your_account_name.smtp), password, and port (587). Make sure your sending domain is authorized in the MessageFlow panel.

2

Configure SMTP in Positive User

In your Positive User app, go to Settings > SMTP Settings. Click "Create SMTP+" to add a new SMTP server. Fill in the form with your MessageFlow credentials: server, username, password, sender email, sender name, port 587, TLS enabled, SSL disabled. Click Save.

3

Send a Test and Verify

Send a test email campaign from Positive User. Then log into the MessageFlow panel and go to Email API > Email Reports. The sent message and its delivery status should appear there. If the test succeeds, all future emails from Positive User will route through MessageFlow.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need coding skills to set this up?
No. You copy SMTP credentials from the MessageFlow panel and paste them into Positive User’s SMTP settings form. No code, no server configuration, no developer required.

Is this a native integration or does it require Zapier?
This is an SMTP integration. You configure MessageFlow as the email delivery server in Positive User’s settings. No Zapier, Make.com, or other middleware is needed. It uses the standard SMTP protocol.

Do I need to authenticate my domain in MessageFlow?
Yes. Before sending, your sending domain must be authorized in the MessageFlow panel. This involves setting up SPF, DKIM, and optionally DMARC records in your DNS. MessageFlow provides the specific records you need to add. This step is essential for deliverability.

What SMTP settings should I use?
Server: smtp.messageflow.com. Port: 587. TLS: enabled. SSL: disabled. Username: 1.your_account_name.smtp. Password: your MessageFlow SMTP password. Sender email: a verified email address on your authorized domain.

Can I see delivery reports in both platforms?
Yes. Positive User shows campaign-level metrics (sends, opens, clicks, conversions). MessageFlow shows message-level delivery data (delivered, bounced, deferred, rejected) in its Email API > Email Reports section. The two sets of reports complement each other.

What is MessageFlow?
MessageFlow is a multi-channel communication platform (part of the Vercom Group, same group as SerwerSMS) that provides email, SMS, RCS, push notifications, and Viber delivery services. The SMTP integration with Positive User specifically uses MessageFlow’s email delivery infrastructure. It is designed for businesses that need professional, high-volume email sending with full tracking and analytics.

How does MessageFlow compare to Positive User’s default email sending?
Positive User’s default sending works out of the box with no configuration. MessageFlow adds a professional delivery layer: dedicated sending infrastructure, custom domain authentication, detailed delivery analytics, and potentially better inbox placement. If you’re sending at scale or need full control over your sender reputation, MessageFlow is the recommended approach.

Is the data GDPR-compliant?
Both MessageFlow (a European company, part of Vercom S.A.) and Positive User offer GDPR compliance tools. MessageFlow provides a Trust Center with security documentation, data processing agreements, and abuse prevention policies. Make sure your email campaigns comply with consent requirements.
