Firmao

Know when your contacts engage with the emails you send from Firmao. The native integration appends a tracking parameter to links in emails sent through your Firmao CRM. When a recipient clicks a link, Positive User recognizes the parameter, matches it to the right contact profile, and logs the activity. You see exactly who clicked, when, and on which link, all without leaving Positive User.

See What Happens After You Hit Send

Automatic Link Tracking on Emails Sent From Firmao

Every time someone on your team sends an email through Firmao that contains a link, the integration appends a special tracking parameter to that link. The process is invisible to the recipient. When they click the link and land on your website (on a domain you've declared in the integration settings), Positive User picks up the parameter and records the activity on the contact's profile.

Match Clicks to Contacts Automatically

The tracking parameter includes enough data for Positive User to identify which contact clicked the link. If the recipient's email address exists in your Positive User database, the click event is logged on their timeline. No manual lookup, no separate analytics tool. Your marketing and sales teams see the engagement directly on the contact profile.

Measure the Impact of Your CRM Emails

Firmao handles day-to-day sales emails: quotes, follow-ups, proposals, meeting confirmations. With the link tracking integration, you can now measure which of those emails drive real engagement. A contact who clicked the link in your proposal is a warmer lead than one who didn't. Use that signal to prioritize follow-ups, trigger automations, or segment your database in Positive User.

Get ready fast

Three simple steps to get started

1

Generate Your Positive User API Key

In your Positive User app, go to Settings > App Settings > Advanced > Public REST API Keys. Click "Create API key" and copy the generated token. Also note your app domain (the subdomain in your Positive User URL).

2

Configure the Integration in Firmao

In Firmao, click the menu icon in the top right corner and go to Company Settings > Integrations. Check the "User.com" checkbox, then click "User.com" in the top menu. Enter your Positive User access token and app domain. Click "Test and save configuration."

3

Declare Your Tracked Domains

In the integration settings, add the domains where your tracked links point (e.g., yourcompany.com). Only links pointing to declared domains will have the tracking parameter appended. Send a test email with a link, click it, and verify the activity appears on the contact's profile in Positive User.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need coding skills to set this up?
No. You generate an API key in Positive User, paste it into Firmao's integration settings, and declare your tracked domains. No code, no webhook configuration, no developer required.

Is this a native integration or does it require Zapier?
This is a native integration. Firmao and Positive User connect directly through an API token. No Zapier, Make.com, or other middleware is needed.

What exactly does this integration track?
It tracks link clicks in emails sent from Firmao. When a recipient clicks a link in a Firmao email that points to one of your declared domains, the click is recorded on the corresponding contact's profile in Positive User. It does not sync contacts, deals, or other CRM data between the two platforms.

How does Positive User know which contact clicked the link?
The integration appends a tracking parameter to the link that includes identifying information. When the recipient clicks and lands on your website, Positive User reads the parameter and matches it to the contact's email address in its database.

Does the recipient see the tracking parameter?
The parameter is appended to the URL, so technically it is visible in the browser address bar after clicking. However, it does not affect the page content or user experience, and most recipients will not notice it.

What types of links are tracked?
Only links that point to domains you have declared in the integration settings. If you send an email from Firmao with a link to yourcompany.com and that domain is on the list, the link is tracked. Links to external domains that are not on the list (like a Google Docs link or a third-party website) are not tracked.

Does this integration sync contacts or deals between Firmao and Positive User?
No. This integration is specifically for email link click tracking. It does not create, update, or synchronize contacts, companies, or deals between the two platforms. For broader data sync, consider using Zapier or Make.com to connect Firmao and Positive User.

Can I trigger automations in Positive User based on a link click from Firmao?
Yes. The link click activity is recorded on the contact's timeline in Positive User. If the click generates an event, you can use it as a trigger in automation workflows: send a follow-up email, apply a tag, change a deal stage, or notify a sales rep.

What is Firmao?
Firmao is a Polish CRM and ERP platform designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It includes customer management, invoicing, warehouse management, project tracking, and email communication. The integration with Positive User bridges the gap between Firmao's sales email activity and Positive User's marketing automation and analytics.

Is the data GDPR-compliant?
Both Firmao and Positive User are European platforms with GDPR compliance built in. Make sure your email communications include appropriate consent language, and that your Positive User data processing settings align with your privacy obligations. Link tracking should be disclosed in your privacy policy.
