SMSAPI

Connect your SMSAPI account and send text message campaigns, individual SMS messages, and automated sequences to your contacts directly from the Positive User panel. Your sender number, your SMSAPI credits, your CRM data, all in one place.

SMS Campaigns Powered by Your CRM Data

Send Campaigns to Segmented Audiences

Create an SMS campaign in Positive User's Campaigns section, write your message, select a segment of contacts with phone numbers, and send. The message goes through SMSAPI's infrastructure with your assigned sender number. You use the same segmentation engine you use for emails and automations, now applied to SMS.

Trigger Automated SMS From Any Event

Combine SMSAPI with Positive User's automation builder to send text messages based on behavior, timing, or CRM events. A customer hasn't logged in for 7 days? Send a re-engagement SMS. An order ships? Trigger a shipping notification text. A deal moves to “Won”? Send a thank-you message. The SMS module fits into any automation workflow as an action step.

Send One-to-One Messages From Contact Profiles

Not every SMS needs to be a campaign. From any contact's profile in Positive User, you can send a direct SMS message to that individual. Sales reps can follow up with a quick text after a call. Support agents can send a confirmation. The message goes through SMSAPI and is logged on the contact's timeline.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need coding skills to set this up?
No. You generate a token in SMSAPI, paste it into Positive User's integration settings, and you're connected. No code, no webhooks, no developer required.

Is this a native integration or does it require Zapier?
This is a native integration. SMSAPI and Positive User connect directly through an API token. No Zapier, Make.com, or other middleware is needed.

Do I need an SMSAPI account?
Yes. You need an active SMSAPI account with credits for SMS sending. The integration uses SMSAPI's infrastructure and your SMSAPI sender number to deliver messages. Positive User provides the campaign management, segmentation, and automation layer on top.

Can I use SMS in automations?
Yes. The SMS module is available as an action step in Positive User's automation builder. You can add it to any workflow alongside email, delays, conditions, tags, and other actions.

Is there a character limit for SMS messages?
Standard SMS messages are limited to 160 characters (for GSM-7 encoding) or 70 characters (for Unicode, which includes special characters and non-Latin scripts). Messages longer than these limits are sent as multi-part SMS and may incur additional SMSAPI credits. Keep your messages concise.

What is SMSAPI?
SMSAPI is a Polish SMS gateway provider (part of the LINK Mobility Group) that enables businesses to send text messages programmatically. It provides SMS delivery infrastructure, sender number management, and API access. The integration with Positive User turns SMSAPI into the SMS delivery engine behind your CRM campaigns and automations.

Can I personalize SMS messages?
Yes. You can include contact attributes (name, company, custom fields) in your SMS text using Positive User's personalization variables. The message is dynamically populated for each recipient before sending through SMSAPI.

Is the data GDPR-compliant?
Both SMSAPI and Positive User offer GDPR compliance tools. SMSAPI is part of LINK Mobility, a European company with GDPR-compliant infrastructure. Make sure your contacts have given consent for SMS communication, and that your Positive User consent management settings reflect the appropriate opt-in status before sending text messages.
