Generate Your Positive User API Key
In your Positive User app, go to Settings > App Settings > Advanced > Public REST API Key. Copy the API key.
Configure the Integration in Thulium
In your Thulium admin panel, go to Administration > Advanced > Integrations. Find User.com in the CRM section and click it. Enter your Positive User subdomain name and API key. Create a CRM custom text field in Thulium to store the User.com customer identifier. Click Authenticate.
Map Fields and Set Up the Automation
In Thulium, click "Map Fields" to link Thulium CRM custom fields to Positive User attributes (e.g., marketing consents). Then, in Positive User, create an automation with triggers "Attribute Change" and "New User," using an "API Call" action that sends a webhook to your Thulium instance (https://your-system.thulium.com/panel/user_com/webhook). Save and activate.

What is the Thulium CRM custom field for User.com identifier?
During setup, Thulium asks you to designate a CRM custom text field to store the Positive User contact identifier. This ID links the customer record in Thulium to the corresponding contact in Positive User, enabling the two-way sync. You need to create this field before configuring the integration.
Do the custom field types need to match?
Yes. When mapping fields between Thulium and Positive User, the field types must correspond. A yes/no field in Thulium should map to a yes/no (boolean) attribute in Positive User. A text field should map to a text attribute. Mismatched types may cause sync errors.
How does the webhook automation work?
In Positive User, you create an automation with two triggers: "Attribute Change" (fires when a contact's data is modified) and "New User" (fires when a contact is created). The integration itself focuses on data synchronization (contacts, consents, custom fields). It does not directly control Thulium's call routing. However, because the customer data is synced in real time, your Thulium call routing rules can use the synced data (like VIP status or customer segment) to make routing decisions.
