Thulium

Connect your contact center to your marketing platform. The native Thulium integration syncs customer data, marketing consents, and custom fields between both systems in real time. Leads captured in Positive User become customers in Thulium automatically. Consent changes flow in both directions. Your support and sales teams always work with the same, up-to-date data.

Your Contact Center and Your CRM, Always in Sync

Automatic Customer Creation From Leads

When a new lead is captured in Positive User (through a form, chat, or import), the integration can automatically create a matching customer record in Thulium. Your support agents see the contact the moment it enters the system, with all the relevant data already attached. No manual re-entry, no delay between marketing and support.

Marketing Consent Synchronization

Consent management is critical when marketing and support teams share customer data. The Thulium integration syncs marketing consent statuses between both platforms. When a customer updates their consent preferences in Positive User, the change reflects in Thulium, and vice versa. Your compliance data stays consistent across every touchpoint.

Custom Field Mapping Between Platforms

Every business tracks different data. The integration lets you map Thulium CRM custom fields to Positive User attributes. Phone preferences, subscription types, customer segments, VIP status, or any other field you need can flow between the two systems. The field types must match (e.g., text to text, yes/no to yes/no), and once mapped, the data stays synchronized.

Get ready fast

Three simple steps to get started

1

Generate Your Positive User API Key

In your Positive User app, go to Settings > App Settings > Advanced > Public REST API Key. Copy the API key.

2

Configure the Integration in Thulium

In your Thulium admin panel, go to Administration > Advanced > Integrations. Find User.com in the CRM section and click it. Enter your Positive User subdomain name and API key. Create a CRM custom text field in Thulium to store the User.com customer identifier. Click Authenticate.

3

Map Fields and Set Up the Automation

In Thulium, click "Map Fields" to link Thulium CRM custom fields to Positive User attributes (e.g., marketing consents). Then, in Positive User, create an automation with triggers "Attribute Change" and "New User," using an "API Call" action that sends a webhook to your Thulium instance (https://your-system.thulium.com/panel/user_com/webhook). Save and activate.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need coding skills to set this up?
Minimal. The Thulium side is configured through the admin panel (no code). The Positive User side requires setting up an automation with an API Call action, which is done through the visual automation builder. The webhook URL and JSON payload format are provided in the documentation.

Is this a native integration or does it require Zapier?
This is a native integration. Thulium and Positive User connect directly through API keys and webhooks. No Zapier, Make.com, or other middleware is needed.

What data is synced between the two platforms?
Three categories of data are synchronized: marketing consent statuses (opt-in/opt-out), personal contact data (name, email, phone), and any custom fields you explicitly map between Thulium CRM fields and Positive User attributes.

How does the consent synchronization work?
You map consent-related Thulium CRM fields (yes/no type) to the corresponding Positive User attributes. When a consent status changes in either system, the mapped field updates in the other. This keeps your marketing permissions consistent across both platforms.

What is the Thulium CRM custom field for User.com identifier?
During setup, Thulium asks you to designate a CRM custom text field to store the Positive User contact identifier. This ID links the customer record in Thulium to the corresponding contact in Positive User, enabling the two-way sync. You need to create this field before configuring the integration.

Do the custom field types need to match?
Yes. When mapping fields between Thulium and Positive User, the field types must correspond. A yes/no field in Thulium should map to a yes/no (boolean) attribute in Positive User. A text field should map to a text attribute. Mismatched types may cause sync errors.

How does the webhook automation work?
In Positive User, you create an automation with two triggers: "Attribute Change" (fires when a contact's data is modified) and "New User" (fires when a contact is created). The action is an "API Call" that sends a POST request to your Thulium webhook URL. This notifies Thulium to pull the updated data from Positive User.

Can I use this integration for inbound call routing?
The integration itself focuses on data synchronization (contacts, consents, custom fields). It does not directly control Thulium's call routing. However, because the customer data is synced in real time, your Thulium call routing rules can use the synced data (like VIP status or customer segment) to make routing decisions.

What is Thulium?
Thulium is a cloud-based contact center platform used by support, sales, and customer service teams. It provides inbound/outbound calling, helpdesk ticketing, chat, and CRM functionality. The integration with Positive User bridges the gap between your marketing automation and your contact center operations.

Is the data GDPR-compliant?
Both Thulium and Positive User are designed with GDPR compliance in mind (both have strong European roots). The consent synchronization feature is specifically built to keep marketing permissions aligned across platforms. Make sure your field mappings and automation triggers reflect your data processing agreements.
